Hotel Exterior - Vatroslav Jagic Promenade
By 1838 the City’s Physicist Dr. Wilim Bernhard Müller started with smaller construction works to arrange a public promenade which, in mid-19th Century achieved its present appearance in the so called ‘English style’ layout. Dense groves of tall trees alternate with open grass spaces, which provides the play of light and shadow and special dark green (conifers) and light green (deciduous) atmosphere.
